Sunrise Clinical Manager incorporates more than 250 rich order sets into its leading computerized physician order entry (CPOE) solutions, with the option to expand content to more than 3,400 evidence summaries and 450 order set templates from Zynx Health, a leading provider of evidence-based clinical decision support. Also built into the CPOE solution is world-class medical content from leading textbooks, drug references and healthcare databases provided through a partnership with Wolters Kluwer Health, an international health information services company.

Clinical practice guidelines

A strategic partnership with the Clinical Practice Model Resource Center, part of the leading healthcare information publisher Elsevier, brings more than 190 evidence-based, interdisciplinary clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) to power Knowledge-Based Charting™, a unique collaboration of content and workflow.

These CPGs clearly delineate the potential complications for each diagnosis and cover common and complex medical problems and psychosocial human responses. Each version of a CPG undergoes a rigorous development and consensual validation process to confirm the goals, assessments, interventions, education and outcome measurements. The Clinical Practice Model Resource Center and Elsevier regularly review the content and guidelines to keep them up to date with the most recent medical knowledge and best practices.

Sunrise InfoButton integrated medical reference

Sunrise InfoButton™ provides clinicians the ability to access medical reference content tailored specifically to their needs, at the point of care or wherever clinical decisions are made. It integrates medical publishers’ reference content seamlessly into Sunrise Clinical Manager. While traditionally clinicians must manually access reference content from medical content publishers’ Web sites or books, Sunrise InfoButton brings content in effortlessly and makes it accessible with a click of a button, without having to log into or visit another site.

Sunrise InfoButton uses current patient problem lists and medication data elements residing in Sunrise Clinical Manager to query third-party medical content sites selected by the clinician, with the idea that different types of clinicians require different reference materials to perform their duties and solve problems. Partnerships with leading healthcare content providers bring in comprehensive reference material from:

• Wolters Kluwer Clin-eguide, which provides context-specific evidence on particular medical issues and diseases
